The difference is that on Steam Deck, after controlling the cursor in Game Mode, it will disappear after a second or two of inactivity. This functionality is identical to how it is on Steam Deck Game Mode. When you hold down guide/steam/ps button, the right stick controls the mouse cursor. I'm not entirely sure it is though, especially since Deck users could flip over to the touch pad any time for the mouse access. Though maybe the profile just gets stuck and stays on in regular view sometimes, I dunno, still though seems to work like that fairly nicely when it does, if that's a mistake. It definitely works this way on purpose on the web tabs like the Store one. Though, the mouse cursor doesn't seem to always be in control by the pad, so I'm not sure. The gamepad inputs for the menus work fine typically, but I have noticed that sometimes, the mouse cursor is visible, and when it is, sometimes the right stick will move it, and right trigger will click the mouse there, so you can actually combine both UI types which nicely. Though I've had mixed results it's strange. Originally posted by Drex:This might actually be intentional.
